Former Sec'y of State Colin Powell Endorses Obama

Former Secretary of State Colin Powell announced Thursday he's endorsing President Barack Obama for a second term.

"I think we ought to keep on the track that we are on," Powell told "CBS This Morning." "I voted for him in 2008 and I plan to stick with him in 2012."

Powell said he agrees with Obama's economic strategy and praised him for getting the country out of Iraq and keeping the United States from any new wars.

Powell served a secretary of state under former President George W. Bush. He said he's still a Republican.
