Florida Republican Rep. Allen West is making sure voters don't forget the debate over the Democratic National Convention removing God from its party platform.
Although Democrats decided later to put references to God back into the document, West's campaign ad highlights the negative response to the vote from DNC delegates.
"Three times they said 'no' to God," on-screen text says in the ad, as video of the DNC party platform vote plays.
The ad goes on to show video of reporters reacting to the negative response.
"Who would've thought the word 'God' would've been so controversial," CNN's Wolf Blitzer says.

West is running for re-election this year against Democrat Patrick Murphy in Florida's 22nd congressional district.
Meanwhile, a super PAC supporting Murphy created a controversial ad against West.
The 30-second attack ad depicts him as a cartoon character, punching women in the face and grabbing a family's cash.
West called the ad "classless" and said it "plays on stereotypes and fear to divide Americans."
