Some U.S. State Department and Central Intelligence Agency officials say they've been threatened by the Obama administration for being whistleblowers in the Benghazi investigation.
Fox News reports that at least four government employees are seeking legal counsel.
This comes as they preparing to give Congress information about the September 11, 2012 attacks on the U.S. Consulate in Benghazi, Libya, that killed Ambassador Chris Stevens and three other Americans.
One attorney told Fox News, "It's frightening, and they're doing some very despicable threats to people."
That attorney went on to say, "They're taking career people and making them well aware that their careers will be over."
