The Supreme Court has rejected a lawsuit from Liberty University fighting the birth control coverage mandate in Obamacare.
The move ends the Christian university's attempt to fight for their religious freedom. Liberty had appealed to the high court after a lower court dismissed their lawsuit.
The university objects to the Obamacare requirement that forces employers to provide contraception coverage to employees, even drugs that may cause abortions.
The Supreme Court is separately considering whether for-profit corporations can mount religious objections to the birth control coverage mandate.
