IRS Places Lois Lerner on Administrative Leave

The head of the IRS division that targeted conservative groups has been replaced.

Lois Lerner came under fire this week after refusing to answer questions at a congressional hearing.
Congress and the Justice Department are investigating the tax agency for targeting conservative groups that applied for tax exempt status before the 2012 election.

Ken Corbin will be the acting director of the agency's exempt organizations division. Corbin is currently deputy director of submission processing in the wage and investment division.
Lerner has been placed on administrative leave.
