More Signs of Election Trouble for Democrats

New signs indicate Congressional Democrats could be in trouble in the midterm election next Tuesday.

Politico reports the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee is putting money into races even in liberal districts long thought to be safe for Democrats. They're worried they could lose even more seats than expected.

Republicans point out many races remain close in both the House and the Senate.

A new Washington Post/ABC News poll shows another concern for Democrats: Hispanic voters are losing faith in the Democrat Party.

The survey shows 30 percent of Hispanics think it would be a good thing if Republicans took control of the Senate. Only 15 percent say that would be bad.

That's quite a change from 2012 when Hispanics voted very heavily for President Barack Obama.

Meanwhile, a CNN/ORC International poll shows 68 percent of voters are angry about the direction America is heading.

And more Americans disapprove of the president's job performance than they did in the 2010 midterm election. That turned out to be a very good year for the GOP.

With Americans so unhappy with the president, Democratic Senate candidates are staying far away from Obama on the campaign trail.
