Clinton Cash, a new book by Peter Schweizer due out next month, is already causing a big stir in political circles.

It provides a detailed investigation into donations made to the Clinton Foundation by foreign entities.

Schweizer says those foreign entities made payments to the Clinton Foundation and to Bill Clinton through expensive speaking fees, The New York Times reports.

He also claims they got favors in return from the State Department while Mrs. Clinton was secretary of state.

The Times reports that Schweizer gives examples of how the process worked, including more than $1 million in payments to Bill Clinton by a Canadian bank and major shareholder in the Keystone XL pipeline around the time the project was being debated in the State Department.

The book is set to be released May 5.
