Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump has been taken off the air by a major Hispanic network.

The Spanish-language Univision announced this week it is cutting ties with the business magnate over comments he made about Mexican immigrants.

"They're sending people that have lots of problems and they're bringing their problems," Trump sad during his speech announcing his candidacy last week. "They're bringing drugs, they're bringing crime, they're rapists, and some I assume are good people, but I speak to border guards and they tell us what we are getting."

Univision called Trump's comments "insulting" to Mexican immigrants and said it will not air the July 12 Miss USA Pageant, which Trump partially owns.

Trump said he's going to sue Univision for breach of the five-year contract it signed with him, which he said it had no right to terminate.
