Earlier this year in Ariel, Israel, a bomb disguised as a holiday gift ripped through the apartment of a Messianic Jewish pastor and his family.
The blast seriously wounded 15-year-old Ami Ortiz who opened the gift.
Ami's struggle to survive and recover captured the hearts of Christians around the globe who offered prayers and encouragement to the Ortiz family.
Ami's mother, Leah Ortiz, says he won't stop spreading the gospel in Israel because of the attack.
"They need him. They need the Lord. And this is not against us, this is against Yeshua," she said. "They hate him and they fear him, and my heart is the name of Yeshua would be respected in this land. That his name will be lifted up and respected."
Ami is still recovering, but he's back in school and even playing basketball.
