More than 20 people are dead as anti-Christian violence enters its third week in the southeastern state.
Radical Hindus burned down hundreds of Christian homes and destroyed scores of churches and ministries.
One Christian worker tells us that the Hindus want to drive all Christians from the area.
"I've spoken to a pastor in one of the districts," the worker said. "He told me yesterday that the fundamentalists have declared that would eliminate every Christian in that district and that they do not want any Christian residing in that district henceforth."
Orissa state police and the Indian Army have been slow to respond. India's Supreme Court has ordered the state government to protect Christians.
