CWN.org - U.S. Speaker of the House, Nancy Pelosi, found a stern reception when she visited the Vatican this week.
Pope Benedict urged her to rethink her support of abortion rights.
Pelosi toured Italy talking about the world economic crisis.
Reporters and photographers were not allowed inside her private meeting with the Pope.
But the Vatican did release a statement saying the Pope reminded Pelosi, "The dignity of human life from conception to natural death."
