CBNNews.com - South Carolina could soon require abortion providers to ask women if they want to see ultrasound images of their baby before going through with an abortion.
Republican Gov. Mark Sanford is expected to sign a bill that would require women to wait at least an hour after seeing an ultrasound to have an abortion.
Twelve states now have laws that allow a pregnant woman, who is seeking an abortion, to request an ultra-sound.
Last week, Oklahoma strengthened its law by requiring all abortion providers to perform an ultrasound at least one hour before an abortion.
The mother can still choose if she wants to see it.
