Time Magazine Cover Upsets Veterans

Ad Feedback

The new cover of Time magazine is causing outrage among American veterans and their supporters.

Time took the historic picture of the flag-raising on Iwo Jima during World War II, and turned it into a promo for the battle against global warming.

The magazine took the U.S. flag, and replaced it with a tree.

Time's publicist says the cover is "respectful."

But a media watchdog group called the Business and Media Institute says hundreds of upset veterans have told them they disagree.
