Parts of the Southeast are beginning to thaw out today after this weekend's deep freeze.
Temperatures in the Atlanta region fell into the teens Sunday, causing hundreds of flight cancellations at Atlanta's airport.
Temperatures in the rest of the south barely rose above 30.
Parts of southern Mississippi and Alabama even got snow.
Several cities, including New Orleans, had to put their freeze plan into effect to provide temporary shelter for the homeless this weekend.
