Apple and other companies are offering several Bible software applications for iPhone users. Many of these programs allow you to take the Bible with you whereever you go. Some of the programs are free. Others have a download charge.
The amount of Bible programs that are available has truly amazed online bloggers. A blogger on the Web site Gizmodo.com wrote "we underestimated was the sheer amount of Bible software that would be available at launch."
While several Christian software firms have packaged the Bible in electronic form, other software firms have yet to produce iPhone applications for other faiths.

IPocketBible - $1.99 per month, $19.99 annual subscription -- Features: Offers many different versions of the Bible and other books available for download. These include commentaries, dictionaries and daily devotionals.
Youversion - Free -- Features: Fifteen different versions of the Bible. Some are available in Spanish.
