One Michigan man makes for an unlikely high school graduate.

At 90 years old, John Lawrence is by far the oldest in his 2008 graduating class.

He had started high school back in the late 1920s, but was forced to drop out to support his family during the Great Depression.

"I don't know how long God's got me on this green earth, but this is something I take with me to my grave," Laurence said.

The high school says Mr. Lawrence's "life credits" earned him the honorary degree.
