During his earthly ministry, Jesus often taught in parables, and perhaps the best-known is the story of "The Prodigal Son."

Tim Keller, pastor of Redeemer Presbyterian Church in New York City, wrote a book on the parable called The Prodigal God.

In it, he explains how many have an incorrect understanding of the meaning behind the parable.
