Gas Prices Drop Even Lower

The national average for gas is now $1.88 a gallon according to recent AAA reports--a decrease of almost a dollar from last month.

And the ease in prices couldn't have come at a better time as Americans prepare to hit the road for Thanksgiving.

Last year, prices for a gallon of gas during the holiday averaged more than $3.00.

"It's really inspired me to drive home for Christmas," one driver said. Another called it a "blessing" for those struggling to provide for their families.

Still, AAA estimates Thanksgiving travel will go down this year for the first time in 6 years.
