One family is thanking God after a frightening visit to the Oregon coast.

During a family photo, 3-year-old Alaina Pitton fell through the fence and stopped just short of a 150-foot cliff with water below.

"It was so so so scary. I was shaking, my tummy was shaking. My head was shaking. My arms were shaking. My legs and my feet too," Alaina said.

It was Alaina's cousin, Craig, who jumped to her rescue.

"Craig is the guardian angel he really did save her life," Charlotte Pitton, Alaina's mother, said. "It was truly a miracle and a blessing that he reacted so quickly."

Pitton said it took her weeks to stop shaking.

She added that the family never got the picture they wanted from the overlook.
