President Bush plans to take part in an "interfaith session" at the United Nations.
The meeting of the U.N. General Assembly was initiated by Saudi King Abdullah, who's been promoting dialogue between Islam and other world religions.
White House press secretary Dana Perino says President Bush is participating because "he believes that it doesn't matter what religion you are. President Bush believes that we all pray to the same God."
The meeting is scheduled to take place November 13.
