The Department of Transportation announced their 2,000th project to be funded with the Obama stimulus package.
Kalamazoo Country in Michigan will receive $68 million to widen part of a highway.
Both President Obama and Vice President Biden were on hand for the occasion.
The president says this is a sign that the economic stimulus package is working.
"I can say something that's rarely said by an administration," he began, "this plan is coming in ahead of schedule, and under budget."
Obama's stimulus package gave the Department of Transportation a total of $48 billion for infrastructure projects.
