CBNNews.com - Washington state is expanding the rights of gay couples in a state legislature that passed what some are calling an "everything but marriage" bill.

It grants same-sex couples all the rights and benefits the state offers married couples.

The House passed the measure in a 62 to 35 vote Wednesday.

It now goes to the governor who is expected to sign it.
