Insurance coverage for abortions is a deal breaker when it comes to health care reform according to the conservative "Freedom Federation."
The group is comprised of nearly three dozen multi-racial and ethnic faith-based groups.
They are concerned about tax dollars being spent on abortions as part of routine "reproductive care."
"There's no question that the way that it has been structured that the health care legislation will end up covering abortion and that we as taxpayers will end up subsidizing and paying for abortion," said Wendy Wright of Concerned Women for America.
"One way to put this to rest is to explicitly put that prohibition in any legislation that is written," added Ken Blackwell of the Family Research Council.
Members say they plan to be outspoken as the health care debate continues.
