One Colorado town has an unusual holiday decoration this year.
Residents in southwest Colorado Springs, Colo. say a wild deer has been wondering around with a string of lights tangled in his antlers.
The Colorado Division of Wildlife spotted the buck two weeks ago.
One resident attempted to chase the deer down and remove the lights. "He'd get pretty close, but not close enough," resident Louis McIntire told Colorado Springs' KKTV. "They jump the fence here once in a while."
Wildlife officials say the buck will lose his antlers in the winter, so the problem will take care of itself sooner than later.
To avoid similar incidents, residents have been asked to use shorter strings of lights and to avoid placing them on trees or bushes.
