A Baptist church in Erwin, Tenn., was engulfed in flames Tuesday morning.
Although the Chestoa Baptist Church was destroyed, no injuries were reported. Fire fighters are still investigating the cause of fire.
"At this time, it's still preliminary," fire investigator Lt. Jimmy Erwin told the Johnson City Press. "We're looking into everything and doing the investigation as we would any other house fire or commercial fire."
Erwin said it took 40,000 gallons of water to contain the blaze. According to Press, the church was originally built in 1948 and has expanded three times since then.
