The New Jersey State Senate is expected to vote Thursday on a bill legalizing same-sex marriage.
On Monday, a Senate committee approved the same-sex marriage measure, clearing the way for a full Senate vote.
Supporters of gay marriage hope to pass the bill before Republican Gov.-elect Chris Christie takes office in January. He has vowed to veto any same-sex marriage bill.
Brian Brown is the executive director of the National Organization for Marriage.
"If it's signed into law, we have a long hard slog to shift the nature of the Legislature," he told Fox News. "If we win this vote, this is dead for the next four years."
Brown joined the CBN Newschannel's Morning program on Thursday to discuss what's next for New Jersey's gay marriage legislation. Click play to watch the interview.
