A Minnesota man accused of throwing a tomato at former Gov. Sarah Palin has been arrested and charged with fourth degree assault.

Police said 33-year-old Jeremy Olson threw the tomato in Palin's direction as she made an appearance at the Mall of America for her book tour.

He missed Palin by about 10 feet, but hit two officers standing nearby.

The tomato tosser is also being charged with disorderly conduct.

Palin did not comment on the incident.
