Conservative talk show host Rush Limbaugh is "resting comfortably" in a Hawaii hospital Thursday after suffering chest pains while on vacation, according to his radio program.

The 58-year-old was admitted to the Honolulu hospital Wednesday after the pains began.

"Rush appreciates your prayers and well wishes and will keep you updated via rushlimbaugh.com and on his radio program," the program said in a statement late Wednesday night.

Limbaugh's chief of staff, Kit Carson, has provided no further information on his condition.
