Former evangelical pastor Ted Haggard has brought light, recently, to Christians and sexuality.
Disgraced after admitting a relationship with a male prostitute, Haggard said he was unable to find a way to talk with other believers about his sexual struggles.
Josh Glaser of Regeneration Ministries says it's important for Christians to "listen well" to those, like Haggard, who say they are struggling with sexual sin.
He warns, though, that change won't happen overnight and the door must remain open for communication.
"Be an advocate for them," he said. "Try to help connect them to resources that will be helpful over the long haul."
"Don't make promises to be able to help in ways if you can't," Glaser added.
