CBNNews.com - A group of college students are demanding an apology from Birmingham, Ala. police for violating their right to free speech.
Officers arrested nine students who were distributing anti-abortion literature on a public sidewalk just outside of a public high school.
The students are members of the "Survivors Campus Life Tour" which is traveling the country with a pro-life message for young people.
The five women and four men were put in orange jumpsuits and jailed overnight.
They were released the next morning but not given a date to appear in court.
So there is still confusion about exactly what they did wrong and the students are looking into their legal options.
