'Fireproof' Wins Most Inspiring Movie Award

CBNNews.com  - Fireproof, the surprise blockbuster hit from a small town church in Georgia, has won the Epiphany Prize for the most inspiring movie of 2008.

The award was presented Wednesday night at the annual Movieguide Faith and Values Awards gala in Beverly Hills, Calif.

Fireproof stars Kirk Cameron as a fireman struggling to save his marriage.

The film was produced for just $500,000 dollars.

But it earned more than $33 million dollars at the box office and it's now a best-selling DVD.
