CBNNews.com - A doctor's license was revoked in the case of a teenage girl who claimed her baby was killed after birth at an abortion clinic in Florida.
The Florida Medical Board supported Department of Health allegations that Pierre Jean-Jacques Renelique, falsified medical records inappropriately, delegated tasks to unlicensed personnel, and committed malpractice.
Renelique was not present at the birth of the baby in 2006; however the patient, Sycloria Williams, sued the Hialeah clinic and Renelique.
She claimed clinic staffers put the live infant into a plastic bag and threw it in the trash.
Tom Pennekamp, her attorney said the case was not about winning.
"This is not about a pot of gold," he said. "What this is about is right and wrong and making a statement, making sure it doesn't happen to other young women."
Renelique did not dispute the health department's allegations.
According to Williams' attorney, she has declined to speak publicly about the case and she suffers from post-traumatic stress because of the experience.
