The Indiana Senate started its session yesterday with a Hindu prayer.

The Senate invited Hindu Chaplain Rajan Zed to lead the opening prayer.

The chaplain started by reciting Hindu scripture in both Sandskrit and English.

Zed is the same chaplin who lead the first Hindu prayer in the U.S. Senate.

He also gave opening prayers for legislatures in Colorado and Oregon.
