Pastors Help Those Affected by Plane Crash

Many Buffalo-area pastors spent the day ministering to families affected by the crash of a Continental commuter plane Thursday night.

They also organized an afternoon prayer service at Eastern Hills Wesleyan Church, just two miles from the wreckage.

Pastor Karl Eastlack told CBN News that it's been a tough day for many who are trying to understand God in the midst of such tragedy.

"Sometimes you have to find the little story of God's work in the midst of the larger story of the tragedy," he said. "I'm very careful to remind myself at these times that it's hard to speak for God to try to bring His mind into the situation other than to bring His comfort, which is what He does."

Pastor Eastlack added that many people are amazed that the crash did not take more lives, since the plane landed in the middle of a neighborhood.
