Organizers of the Presidential Inaugural Prayer Breakfast are calling out to the body of Christ to join together with them as they pray for the new President and the nation's revival.
"We at Ask for America believe now as never before that we must let our voices be heard across this nation," said Ask for America's Carol Gangle.
"We are believing God to pour out his spirit through this prayer gathering! Please join with us hours before Barack Obama is inaugurated as President of the United States of America," Gangle urged.
Some 2,600 people of all denominations and political affiliations are expected to attend. Gangle says there will be no speakers only prayer offered for the new President, government, armed forces, the media, and for our nation's revival.
"We believe God will hear our prayers as we come together in unity and oneness and humbly petition our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on behalf of all these areas of need."
Ask for America is hosting the event January 20 from 7:45 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at the Marriott Ballroom, Marriott Wardman Park hotel in Washington, D.C.
