With two embattled money managers fighting to stay out of prison, many are questioning the security of their investments.

Wall Street executive Bernarnd Madoff is awaiting trial on claims that he ran a Ponzi scheme that cost investors an estimated $50 billion.

And Marcus Shrenker, an Indiana financial adviser, remains hospitalized after an apparent attempt to fake his own death in a plane crash. He had been under investigation for stealing millions of dollars from his investors.
