Forty years ago today - July 23, 1969 - the capsule containing the three Apollo 11 astronauts safely splashed down in the Pacific Ocean, successfully ending their historic mission.

John Wolfram helped pull the astronauts from their capsule that day as one of the frogmen assigned to help with their recovery.

Recently, the former Navy Seal told CBN News about the experience and his life after Apollo 11.
