Controversial college professor Ward Churchill will not get his job back after he was fired for his writings on the Sept. 11 attacks.
Churchill came under fire for calling victims of 9/11 "little Eichmanns." The University of Colorado fired him on charges of plagiarism in his writings and research.
Churchill sued the university, claiming his free speech rights had been violated.
He won the lawsuit in April but a judge has ruled the university does not have to re-hire him.
"The result that we were looking for occurred today," Phil DiStefano of the University of Colorado said. "It helps the university, because what faculty are most concerned about is academic integrity."
Churchill said he plans to appeal.
