A 90-year-old Chicago woman who dropped out of high school to support her family during the Great Depression, has now received her diploma.
Eleanor Benz left in 1936 during her senior year to take a job.
She told one of her daughters that never finishing high school was one her greatest disappointments.
That's when her children contacted her school and approved Benz's diploma.
At her 90th birthday party, she was presented with the diploma with a 2009 gown and cap with a 1936 tassel.
