Master Sergeant Joseph Myers surprised his 10-year-old daughter Hannah at school in San Antonio, Texas after being deployed in Iraq for a year.
"I was just so excited," Hannah said. "I couldn't believe it, and I don't really remember what happened cause I was so happy."
Myer commended his young daughter for her maturity while he was away.
"The things that she's done, you don't think a normal ten-year-old would do it," he said. "Stepping up to the plate, changing diapers, getting up in the middle of the night when mom's sick and baby's sick to help mom out."
"Everyone of us in uniform, and out of uniform think about you every day, and we know the sacrifices that you had to take on, and I'm sorry," he told his daughter.
