This week marks the start of efforts in Washington to overhaul the nation's healthcare system.

Health industry groups delivered their plans to the White House, Monday.

They recently promised President Obama they would cut costs by $2 trillion over 10 years.

Sen. Ted Kennedy is gathering Democrats on his health committee Tuesday to weigh his proposal to extend healthcare to everyone.

The Senate Finance Committee will also work on similar legislation.
