The St. Louis, Missouri region has received three inches of rain, and the River des Peres has overflowed, which caused the flooding of many low-lying roadways.
    
On Monday, more than 26 homes were evacuated in St. Louis as a precaution, and there were calls for about two dozen water rescues.

No injuries have been reported.
    
Forecasters say there could be another two inches of rainfall in the region.
