Over four thousand U.S. troops have died in the war in Iraq.
Almost half of them have been killed by I.E.D.s, improvised explosive devices, sometimes called roadside bombs.
The number of troops killed would be much higher had it not been for an elite squad that dismantles those homemade bombs. A new movie called "The Hurt Locker" tells their story.
CBN News spoke with the director of the film Kathryn Bigelow and screenwriter Mark Boal.
