Another religious meeting happening next week will officially establish the Anglican church in North America.

Representatives of churches and dioceses that have left the U.S. Episcopal Church and the Anglican church of Canada will gather in Texas.

There are more than 700 congregations forming the Anglican church in North America.

They will be led by Robert Duncan, the former Episcopal bishop of Pittsburgh.

CBN News spoke with Michael Horton, author of Christless Christianity,about the state of America's churches.  He feels God is missing from many churches today, because they focus more on marketing and politics than on the teachings of Christ.
