CBN News has an update to the murder case of the late-term abortion Dr. George Tiller.
He was gunned down at his Lutheran church Sunday morning.
Prosecutors in Wichita, Kansas have charged Scott Roeder with first-degree murder in connection with Tiller's death.
Roeder appeared at a preliminary hearing Tuesday on closed-circuit video from jail.
The 51-year-old's ex-wife said his life began to unravel over ten years ago when he got involved with a anti-government organization.
She also said he lived by the Old Testament teaching "an eye for an eye."
CBN News recently spoke with the president of Faith and Action about the Tiller murder.
"The Bible clearly teaches vigilantly killing in this way it's one of the commandments so this violates scripture it is certainly a sinful act and it is an unChristian act and anyone even contemplating it needs to repent and get help," he said. "This doesn't help the pro-life cause it only hurts it and it hurts it in a very bad way."
The district attorney arguing the case says the state will not seek the death penalty for Roeder.
