Now there is proof that a sweet idea can really pay off, even if it's from a kid.
Dylan Chapman, 10, lives in Michigan and loves to eat ice cream. He loves it so much that he and his brother came up with their own flavor and sent the idea to the Hudsonville Ice Cream Company.
Their recipe for "Banana Smash" ice cream caught the attention of a Hudsonville executive and the company decided to produce it.
Banana Smash is made of vanilla ice cream with chunks of candied banana and chocolate brownie inside.
"This is a big accomplishment for somebody that's only 10 years old, to actually get recognition like this. So, he was very excited, we were excited for him. Very proud," a Hudsonville representative said.
"Are you, Dylan? You want some of your ice cream?"
Hudsonville Ice Cream surprised Chapman with a special assembly in front of his whole school.
