UCLA Student Gets OK to Thank Jesus

An official at UCLA now says it's okay for a student to thank Jesus in a personal statement to be read during graduation.

Students were asked to submit statements to be read as they receive their degrees this Saturday.

One student's statement read, in part, "I want to thank my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ."

But the Alliance Defense Fund says a UCLA adviser asked the student to change it to, "I want to thank God."

But once the student protested, she was allowed to keep her original statement.
