Christian Ministries Win Accreditation

Ad Feedback - Two leading Christian institutions have been accredited by the Evangelical Council for Financial Accountability.

Oral Roberts University and Joyce Meyer Ministries now comply with what the council calls "established standards for financial accountibility, fundraising and board governance."

ORU fell more than $50 million in debt which led to the resignation of university president Richard Roberts.

The school was able to cut debt under new leadership.

Joyce Meyer Ministries is one of six ministries being investigated by Senator Charles Grassley.

Grassley called Meyer's accreditation "a positive development."
