A controversial line-up has been selected to debate the existence of Satan on ABC's Nightline Face-Off series on March 26.
Arguing for the existence of Satan will be Pastor Mark Driscoll of Mars Hill Church in Seattle, and former Las Vegas escort turned minister Annie Lobert.
The other side of the debate will feature Deepak Chopra, author of Jesus: A Story of Enlightenment, and Bishop Carlton Pearson, who has been criticized for his inclusionist stance on the gospel.
T.J. Wray, associate professor of religious studies at Salve Regina University said the debate is not likely to be complex.
"Why don't they call professionals - the people who write this stuff?" Wray asked.
Executive producer of "Nightline" James Goldston said they went for "the most interesting voices" they could find for the debate.
ABC has previously come under criticism from some Christians for its Face-Off series "Does God Exist" in May 2007, which also featured no Christian apologists with theological degrees.
