The family of the man charged with shooting the pastor in an Illinois church Sunday has met with one of the pastors of that church.

The shooter, Terry Sedlacek, is in jail without bond.

He's charged with murder in the death of Pastor Fred Winters of the First Baptist Church in Maryville.

A church pastor says the congregation is praying for Sedlacek and his family.

"Our God is still good, and our God is still in charge, and he's going to walk through it with us moment by moment," Pastor Rich Cochran said.

The shooting could have been much worse -- Sedlacek carried enough ammunition to kill 30 people.
